21st CENTURY EDUCATION – “INTERVENTION FOR CHILDHOOD STRESS & TRAUMA”
This course reviews some of the latest neuroscientific findings regarding the effects of stress and trauma on the brain, learning, and behavior. The review sheds enormous light on the educational issue of our time: a growing number of students are giving up, shutting down, and dropping out despite the exhaustion of some of our best resources.
Participants will develop not only a much better understanding of those who are most baffling to us as educators, they will become equipped with sound research-based interventions that promote both academic and behavioral success.

*Learn how the brain develops, functions, and is impacted by the very real events of children’s lives
*Understand & operationalize the practical implications of current neuroscience
*Become equipped with simple interventions that work quickly and have long-lasting results
